Disclaimer: All teaching studies are held in german. You therefore need very good german skills to enroll in the program. 

Short Description

To become a teacher in Germany there are three stages of mandatory education:

• A bachelor consisting of two subjects with respect to teaching,
• A master of education in the two former subjects,
• A completed prepatory course offered by the state.

As each step of this education is completely in german, you need to have excellent german skills to start this path of education.

Becoming a teacher is possible in each of our subjects: mathematics, computer science and physics. There are also a lot more subjects offered by the university.

Specialities in Heidelberg

The university offers a wide range of subjects for teaching degrees. Everything from math, physics, religion, chemistry, languages, geography, etc. is possible in every combination.
